Autumn Trees & Snowy Scenes In Watercolour

Join Emma in this full day workshop where we will be painting watercolour trees and alpines.

In the morning we will look at the beautiful autumn colours and create a painting using watercolour techniques. Moving into the afternoon we will move onto painting snowy alpines and creating snow effects.

Emma will guide you step by step throughout the day to produce 2 stunning pieces of art in watercolour which you can frame at home.

You will learn

How to draw and paint trees

Watercolour techniques including wet on wet and wet on dry

Watercolour mediums

Use of different brushes

Knowledge of watercolour papers

Using the darks to create the high lights

At the end of the workshop we will display all the work within the group and have a small group discussion. You will create an A4 painting which will be ready to frame at home.

You will finish the day with a watercolour painting.

All materials are supplied on the day, but not to be taken home. Bring an old ceramic dinner plate if preferred for colour mixing.
