Patchwork Baby or Lap Quilt

Learn how to make this small but perfectly formed baby/ lap quilt.

Over two days you will learn how to cut and piece fabric together accurately, before basting and quilting the layers together. Perfectly finished off with a bound edge with mitred corners.

Batting (the inside warm layer) will be provided but you will need to bring along 6 or 7 fat quarters for the top, 1.2m for the back and 0.5m for the binding. All fabric should be a woven craft cotton suitable for quilting, if in doubt please ask at the time of booking.

You will also need to bring your own sewing machine, however, if you would like to hire a sewing machine for a small charge, please let us know when booking. (Subject to availability).

Suitable for beginners. No specialist equipment is needed but if you have a walking foot and a 1/4-inch foot, please bring it with you.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the two days.

We reserve the right to cancel workshops at short notice should the minimum required attendees not be reached. Purchased tickets will be transferred to alternate events or refunded should a suitable alternative event not be found.

Customer cancellation Policy. 50% refundable up to 7 days prior to the event. No refund within 7 days unless we can refill the space.
