About the Event

SAORI Weaving is a Japanese form of weaving, which emphasises self-expression and creativity.

During this workshop, you will be taught how to use a SAORI loom and shown a variety of creative weaving techniques.

You will be learning on a pre-warped SAORI loom which has been designed to make weaving easy and accessible to all.

Whether you are an experience weaver or complete novice, you will come away with a beautiful, unique piece of cloth. All materials and equipment is provided, though you may like to bring yarns, pieces of fabric, ribbons, buttons and anything else you may wish to include in your weaving.

This is a wonderful opportunity to take time out, have fun, explore your inner child and enjoy being your most creative self.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day along with a light lunch from The Cowshed.

Full payment required on the purchase of ticket. 50% of ticket price refundable on cancellation at any time up to 7 days prior to workshop date, no refund is available for cancellations within a week of the workshop unless we can fill your space. For cancellations due to Covid restrictions, we will rebook you a slot on another date. Book and pay for your ticket online now or call into the shop to do it in person.
