Dramatic Sky in Watercolour

Join Emma in this full day workshop where she will guide you step by step to paint this scene in watercolours.

This photograph was taken on Emma’s holiday in Cornwall and shows Godrevy Beach at low afternoon tide. In the morning we will practice elements of the painting, then progress onto the full image in the afternoon. At the end of the day, you will be able to mount your painting with a mount provided to take home and frame.

You will learn:

Watercolour techniques, watercolour washes, wet, perspective and creating distance within a painting, drawing skills and vanishing points, knowledge of watercolour paper and materials, transferring images from photographs, we will also use bamboo sticks and ink to create the foliage in the foreground.

All materials are provided. Bring an old ceramic plate for colour mixing if you wish, Emma will provide plastic palettes.

A light lunch, cake and refreshments are included thtroughout the day.

We reserve the right to cancel workshops at short notice should the minimum required attendees not be reached. Purchased tickets will be transferred to alternate events or refunded should a suitable alternative event not be found.

Customer cancellation Policy. 50% refundable up to 14 days prior to the event. No refund within 13 days unless we can refill the space, there will also be a £7 reduced refund due to the transaction costs involved.
