Flower painting with Enamels on Copper Jewellery - WA

Spend a morning learning to paint with enamel.

During this workshop you will learn some of the skills used in this ancient technique. We will work with water based painting enamels on pre-enamelled copper shapes. Be inspired by the flower images provided as you paint in this relaxed workshop. You will learn how to apply painting enamels in layers, adding detail, before using the kiln to fire your piece after each layer of enamel.

Firing enamel takes moments, unlike firing ceramics, giving quick results. You will first make a pendant, using pre-cut copper shapes. For your second piece you can choose to make either earrings, a brooch or a another pendant, Your jewellery will be finished and ready to take home at the end of the workshop.

Suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience. Please wear covered shoes (not sandals).
