Foxglove Watercolour

Join Emma on this all day workshop where she will guide you through the principles of watercolour to create a painting of a foxglove.

In this workshop you will learn watercolour techniques including wet on wet, colour mixing, masking out, creating a background and painting the beautiful flower of a foxglove. This painting will then be ready for you to mount or frame at home.

During the day you will be looking at:

Positive and negative space

Colour mixing

Wet on wet

Merging colours for backgrounds

Painting foliage

Masking out using masking fluid

Scratching, mark making

Finishing the painting and presentation

Emma will provide step by step tuition where you will paint a long throughout the day with sketches of flowers and foliage to begin with and then progressing onto the foxglove image.

All materials and equipment are included as well as a light lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

We reserve the right to cancel workshops at short notice should the minimum required attendees not be reached. Purchased tickets will be transferred to alternate events or refunded should a suitable alternative event not be found.

Full payment required on the purchase of ticket. 50% only refundable on cancellation at any time up to 14 days prior to workshop date. No refund for cancellations within 13 days unless we can fill the space and then a transaction fee of £7 will be taken off the refund.
