About the Event
In this one day course you will work with feltmaker, Penny to make a beautiful felted bag.
You will discuss your own design or follow the demonstration piece. There will be guidance on how to plan for shrinkage of felt. Penny also has a fashion background and there will be plenty of support with colour and shape choices if required. You will learn how to lay the wool correctly onto a flat resist and how to agitate the fibres using soap and water. You will then find out when is the correct time to remove the resist and carry on working your bag.
Suitable for beginners or those who have felted before. Please bring an old towel and a waterproof carrier bag.
Lunch, as well as cake and drinks throughout the day are included in you ticket price.
