Painted Landscape in Enamels

Create your own enamelled landscape on copper.

During this workshop you will learn some of the skills used in the the fascinating technique of enamelling. We will work with lead free enamels on pre-enamelled copper sheet. Be inspired by the landscape images provided. During this relaxed workshop you will be guided through each stage of the process, learning how to add enamels in layers, using the kiln to fire each stage . As your artwork progresses you can build up colours and add details with stencils and brushwork.

Firing enamel takes moments, unlike firing ceramics, giving quick results. You will make a piece approximately 2” x 3” in size. 

Your artwork will be finished and ready to take home at the end of the workshop. A mini easel will be provided to display your work at home.

Suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience.   Please wear covered shoes (not sandals).

All materials and refreshments are provided.

Please can we ask where at all possible that you park in the large car park at the rear of the courtyard. Thank you for you help in this.

We reserve the right to cancel workshops at short notice should the minimum required attendees not be reached. Purchased tickets will be transferred to alternate events or refunded should a suitable alternative event not be found.
