Stained Glass Mistletoe Hoop WA

On this course you will learn the techniques of copper foiled (Tiffany) stained glass to create a mistletoe hoop. You will be taught the skills of glass cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering and finishing. You will learn how to safely use the specialist equipment and materials that are involved in the stained-glass process, such as cutters, grinders and soldering irons.

In the session you will be able to cut some mistletoe leaves and assemble them on wire into a hoop finished with some small pearl beads as berries. The hoop is finished with a hessian string for hanging.

This workshop is suitable for people who have had some previous stained glass experience or beginners .

Tools, materials and equipment are provided as well as refreshments.
