Beginners/Intermediate Watercolour and Collage Orchid

A relaxing and fun workshop for those who fancy having a go at a mixed media artwork using gentle watercolours and  collage with ink detail. 

Suitable for complete beginners or those who havedone a little painting before, this workshop will guide you through easy steps to create a beautiful piece to take home and hang on your wall.

Even if you have never picked up a paintbrush before, this is one to have a go at ....... the techniques are very easy and yet really effective.

We will spend the morning drawing and painting the orchid flower and pot and after lunch we will have a look at how to bring out the texture of your work using collage from pretty papers and magazine pages. Finally, we will add some ink detailing to finish off your picture.

All materials as well as refreshments and a light lunch are included in your ticket price.

Please can we ask, where possible, that you park in the large car park at the rear of the courtyard.

We reserve the right to cancel workshops at short notice should the minimum required attendees not be reached. Purchased tickets will be transferred to alternate events or refunded should a suitable alternative event not be found.

Full payment required on the purchase of ticket. 50% only refundable on cancellation at any time up to 15 days prior to workshop date. No refund for cancellations within 14 days unless we can fill the space and then a transaction fee of £10 will be taken off the refund.
