About the Event
Step into the world of Gustav Klimt in this relaxed and creative watercolour workshop. Inspired by Klimt's rich patterns, flowing forms and iconic use of gold, we'll learn technique of layering, detailing and expressive design to create your own Klimt style artwork. Using watercolour, ink and acrylic, you'll explore how to combine fluidity with structure bringing both freedom and elegance to your painting. We'll start by practising the sunset background with a beautiful wash before we start on your painting.
This workshop offers a chance to experiment, have fun and leave with a beautiful, unique creation.
Some people complete their piece during the session, while others prefer to continue adding details at home. The focus is on learning techniques and enjoying the creative process rather than rushing to finish.
